Materials…

v  1/3   yard teal solid cotton.

v  ½  yard dotted teal print cotton.

v  1/3 yard teal diamond print cotton .

v  Dark yellow batik 12 inches by 9 inches.

v  Orang batik 5 inches by 15 inches.

v  Black Batik 5 inches by 15 inches.

v  Black Batik 2 inches  by 3 inches.

v  1-    3/8  yard 44 inches by 3 inches  wide lining fabric cor 7/8 yard of 60 inches wide fabric.

v  Template Plastic .

v  ¼ yard 12 inches wide fusible web.

v  ¼ yard 20 inch wide tear away Stabillzer.

v  4 inch by 21 inch heavy Carboard or 1/8 inch-thick wood or Plastic to Stabilize bag bottom.

v  1   -3/8 inch wooden bottom.

v  All purpose threads to match fabric .

v  Clear nylon monofilament.

v  Basic sewing Supplies and tools.

Instruction :

Step 1:

Trace pattern Shapes on templates Plastic  cut out each template  Plastic . Cut out each Shapes and label with letter A-E.

Step 2:

From teal solid and teal Diamond print cut 24  - ¾  in square . From dotted print cut 22     - 3 ½  inch  Square.

Step 3:

Arrange one Panel of 3 ½  inch square .

Step 4:

Arrange a second panel of 3  ½ inches Square.

Step 5:

From teal Solid , cut seven Rectangles 3  ½ inches by 4  ½  inches . From teal Diamond Print Cut six Rectangle the Same Size . From Dotted teal Print cut four more rectangle the same size .Stitch pieces together along 4  ½  inches Sides.

Step 6:

Cut one template    A Piece from dark yellow batik. Reverse template and cut a second pieces from the same fabric. yellow batik from dark batik .Reverse template and cut a second pieces from the same fabric.

Step 7:

From Orange batik cut two tail pieces with team plate – Right Sides facing, Stich two Pieces 

together, leaving Open on the Shortest side. Trim Corners , turn right side out , press.
